Women in the Funeral Industry: One Challenge Stands in Their Way |

Body Donor Firms Market Their Mission to The Living |
We are seeing a spike in people wanting to do this 'free' cremation route. I think that if people want it then they should do it. i also believe that our job is to educate them on what really happens to the body. I also wonder what our legal responsibility is and what would happen if we were the provider and issues arose. What legal protection is given to us by these groups.

New Bill Would Cause Funeral Home Prices to Be Posted Online |
I like the idea but I also think that this is a way for the government to become involved in the funeral industry. I think that you will have some owners that might just remove the website. Also most newspapers in California have legacy as a partner and they give "free" web site landing pages for funeral homes that provide a map and contact information what will the state say about those sites. I like the idea but not keen on the law.
